A 22-year-old St. John’s man is facing charges in connection with a stabbing in Paradise early this morning that sent a 35-year-old to hospital with injuries.

RNC were called to a home in Paradise around 3:30 this morning. The suspect, who was known to the victim, had fled the area by the time police arrived.

Officers found the accused around 11:00 this morning at his home in St. John’s.

He’s now facing charges of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and breaches of court orders.
