“What’s the plan?”
Opposition Finance critic Tony Wakeham is expressing frustration with an apparent lack of progress in assistance for those whose jobs have been affected by the downturn in the oil and gas industry.
Wakeham says lives and livelihoods are on the line and he wants to know what’s holding up the process.
He says they can’t get any answers other than the federal government is at the table, but they’ve been at the table for the last five months. Wakeham says either that means the provincial government is ineffective, the feds are not listening, or “there’s something we’re not being told.”
