A 64-year-old woman is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Stephenville.

First responders were called to a vehicle-pedestrian collision on Prince Rupert Drive at around 10:00 on Friday.

Paramedics rushed the woman to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

The investigation continues.
