A 58-year-old man is facing multiple charges following an investigation into the illegal importation of cannabis products into the province.
Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP charged Craig Sharron of Northern Arm as a result of the investigation, which also involved Canadian Postal Inspectors and the Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation.
Five pounds of marijuana, two kilograms of hashish, and $20,000 cash was seized from Sharron’s home.
He is facing numerous charges under the Cannabis and Cannabis control acts. Sharron will appear in court early in the new year.
