A program in the city of Corner Brook that allows ATV use on some roadways is coming to an end this weekend.
The 2020 ATV Program allows riders to use their machines on some roadways in the town.
The program will end for the season at 10:00 Saturday night at which time all use of ATVs on city roads will be prohibited.
The city touted the success of the program after it was first introduced in May 2019, noting its impact on the local tourism sector.
A post-season consultation process will begin over the coming weeks to discuss how the program can be improved moving forward.
The 2020 ATV Program will conclude for the season this coming Saturday, October 31 at 10:00 p.m.
After this time, ATV use on City roads will be prohibited once again.
