Government says all junior high and high schools should have their Chromebooks by the end of next month.
The province announced in September that it was purchasing 5100 laptops and 30,000 Chromebooks to support digital learning.
Education Minister Tom Osborne was responding to questions on the issue from St. John’s Centre NDP MHA Jim Dinn in the House of Assembly yesterday.
He says the computers will be uploaded, serviced and distributed throughout November for students in grades 7-12.
