RCMP say property stolen from a cabin in Duntara, Bonavista Bay has been returned to their rightful owners.

Police were contacted after two people out cutting wood found the stolen property in the woods between Stock Cove and King’s Cove.

The property was hidden underneath some tree boughs.

The pair recognized the property from a recent police advisory and contacted the RCMP.

The items, including a cherished Hohner accordion, were returned to the grateful owners.

The investigation continues.
