Another warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Marystown man wanted in connection with a number of criminal charges.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of 33-year-old Anthony (also known as Tony) Cyril Farrell.
Police showed up at Farrell’s residence on Saturday to conduct a check of his court-ordered curfew. He failed to present himself, and police located him the following day at his home.
When the officer attempted to take him into custody, he allegedly assaulted the officer and fled on foot.
He’s facing charges of failing to comply with the conditions of a court order, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer.
