People in three towns in Central Newfoundland now have to live by a boil order following a break in a water main yesterday.
Botwood, Northern Arm, and Peterview—as well as along the Swanee Pool Road—are under the order until further notice.
All drinking water must be brought to a rigorous rolling boil for one minute before consumption. That includes water used for brushing teeth, cooking, washing fruits and vegetables, making ice, making coffee or tea, etc.
Botwood is currently working on repairing the water system.
