Bonavista’s own Jevon Marsh has been selected as a 2021 Rhodes Scholar, earning him a prestigious scholarship to the University of Oxford worth more than $100,000.
Marsh received a Master of Science degree in chemistry from Queen’s University after completing his undergraduate degree at MUN.
At Oxford, Marsh will pursue a Doctorate of Philosophy in Inorganic Chemistry with a focus on the development of potential treatments for children with rare brain cancers.
Only 11 Rhodes Scholars are selected each year from across Canada.
