Those eager to get out on their sleds in Gros Morne over the Christmas season will have to wait a while longer thanks to Mother Nature.
Parks Canada says the resident snowmobiling season in Gros Morne National Park has been delayed another two weeks due to the lack of consistent freezing temperatures and inadequate snow cover.
The tentative opening date for this year’s season is set for January 6.
