The province has one new confirmed case of COVID-19.
It involves a woman in her 40s in the Eastern Health region who had just returned to the province from work in British Columbia.
Public Health is asking passengers on Air Canada flight 696 that left from Toronto on Tuesday, December 15 and arrived in St. John’s on Wednesday, December 16 to call 811 to arrange for testing.
Seven new recoveries have been reported today, leaving 23 active cases of the virus in the province—including one patient in hospital.
