As of Christmas Eve, the Department of Health says no new cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The total number of active cases has dropped to 21, with two new recoveries reported in the latest numbers. One person remains in hospital with the virus. In total, 356 cases have been resolved.
Daily updates on the provincial COVID-19 numbers will be on hold for Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Live broadcasts featuring the province’s Chief Medical Officer of Health will return in the new year.
