A 38-year-old former teacher has been charged with sexual offences against a former student of Roncalli Central High in Avondale.

Noel Strapp of Harbour Main is facing charges of sexual assault and sexual exploitation in connection with a number of alleged incidents that occurred between 2014 and 2016.

Police were contacted in November of 2019 by the RNC who received the original report.

Strapp was arrested today in connection with the investigation and has been released on conditions to appear in court March 2.
