Metro police are investigating a couple of break and enters in the St. John’s area which they believe to be linked.
The alarm went off at a convenience store in the Goulds around 4 a.m. on Wednesday. The RNC say forced entry was used by people who fled the area in a vehicle.
A half-hour later, police were called out to a service station on Torbay Road in St. John’s. The circumstances were remarkably similar to the break and entry in the Goulds.
Police believe that three people were involved. RNC also believe the person captured on surveillance footage, who is wearing a green camouflage-style jacket, is a man.
Anyone with information is asked to contact either the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
