Crews are making progress in Happy Valley-Goose Bay after significant and rapid snowmelt on the weekend left some streets underwater.
Drainage routes became blocked after a bout of freezing rain, but Mayor Wally Andersen says municipal crews have done a great job in opening up the drainage routes.
Temperatures are still on the plus side not only in the daytime but overnight, something which is highly unusual for this time of year.
Mayor Andersen says normally people would go places by snowmobile but you don’t see any of that this year.
