There are eleven new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the province, all in the Central region.
Contact tracing is underway and anyone considered a close contact has been advised to quarantine. There are now 44 confirmed cases related to the Central cluster and one presumptive positive case.
There are seven new recoveries, leaving 93 active cases—including four people in hospital.

The source of the central cluster remains under investigation.
Residents in the central region are being encouraged to get tested for COVID-19 regardless of whether or not they are experiencing symptoms.
A COVID testing clinic for people who are not experiencing symptoms and who have not been contacted by Public Health is open at the Salvation Army Church in Lewisporte.
Meanwhile, vaccination clinics remain open in the region for those who are not symptomatic and who are not isolating.
Western Health Adds Vaccination Clinics
Additional COVID-19 vaccination clinics are now available in the Western Health region.
These clinics are located in various communities in the region. All individuals 12 and older are being encouraged to book an appointment to receive their COVID-19 vaccine.
