The highway between Chance Cove and Bellevue is was closed for several hours yesterday after a vehicle fire.
A vehicle on a carrier transport truck went ablaze on the TCH around Bellevue. The truck had to detach the trailer and the driver was unharmed.

Fire services responded to the scene and extinguished the trailer. The road re-opened shortly after 7:00 p.m. last night.
