Easter Seals has officially unveiled the second phase of their inclusive park.
The first phase, an inclusive playground, was unveiled in 2018. The second phase includes a new pavilion, event plaza, sensory garden, fire pit, and green space on which they plan to do things like archery.

CEO Mark Bradbury says it is important for Easter Seals members to have an accessible space. He points to the firepit as an example; he says sometimes people with disabilities can’t access areas for fires the same as their family and friends and the new space at Easter Seals allows them to do that.
2021 Easter Seals ambassador Gavin Baggs says the fire pit is his favourite part of the area. He says there’s nothing better than sitting around a fire pit with friends.
Breaking ground on the third phase of the project is expected next year—a hard surface area for sporting activities.
