Some sad news for regulars of Salmonier Nature Park.
Buddy, the popular caribou that called the park home for the better part of seven years, has died.
Since he was brought to the park in 2014, staff say Buddy found a mate and had two offspring that still live at the nature park.
It’s believed that Buddy died of old age.
