An investigation is underway after two semi-tractor trucks were damaged by fire at a government depot near Baie Verte early yesterday morning.

Police were called to the depot on Route 410 shortly before 5 a.m. Two trucks parked inside the compound were alight.

According to police, there was no sign of forced entry.

Local firefighters quelled the flames, but the two trucks were heavily damaged.

As the investigation continues, anyone with information is asked to contact the local RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers.
