The hotel industry is starting to see a rebound from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The President and CEO of Steele Hotels, John Steele, says they are seeing an uptick in reservations across the island. In particular, they are seeing bookings for August and September ramping up.
He believes it’s all about vaccination levels.
Despite the uptick, Steele doesn’t believe there will be any massive increases in hotel activity this year, but he does think things will continue to improve and next summer will be “very good” for tourism.
