There are more problems with traffic flow in Deer Lake this afternoon.
The TCH is closed because of a washout last night, resulting in a detour through the town. But fire at the Rockwood Lounge building has interrupted that diversion as well. Traffic is getting through according to the RCMP through another detour through town.
New piping has arrived on site so crews will begin installing the infrastructure as soon as possible. The highway will remain closed until the task is finished, which could take a couple of days.
