The Iron Ore Company of Canada has announced a change in leadership which will take place next month.
Yesterday the company announced that Mike McCann has been appointed as President and CEO of the company effective September 20.
Up until recently, McCann was head of strategic business projects at Vale’s Base Metals division.
IOC says McCann brings 30 years of experience to the company. He will take over from Donald Tremblay who filled the role on an interim basis and will be returning to his role of CFO after the transition.
