The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary believe that a significant seizure of cash, weapons, and drugs on the Avalon Peninsula will go a long way in keeping the community safe.
The RNC seized $2-million worth of cocaine, nearly half a million dollars in cash, firearms, and more from an organized crime effort known as ‘Operation Rattle’ in St. John’s.
RNC Constable James Cadigan says the seizure has effectively “crippled” that group.
He’s confident that the seizure of such a large quantity of cash and resources will make it near impossible for the group to rebound.
