Nova Scotia is delaying the move to the final phase of its five-phase COVID reopening plan for another couple of weeks.
The final phase of the province’s reopening plan – which involves living with COVID-19 – was supposed to start today but that won’t happen until October 4th when Nova Scotia’s new proof of vaccination policy comes into effect.
Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston says they had hoped to be in a position to start Phase 5 this week, but case counts and the province’s epidemiology are changing quickly, forcing them to take a more cautious approach.
