A 26-year-old man from Stephenville is facing drug related charges after he was found to be driving a stolen ATV Friday morning.

Bay St. George RCMP received a call around 12:30 a.m. of a break and enter, and that an ATV was stolen.

When police pulled the driver of the ATV over he was found to be in possession of suspected cocaine. As well, he provided breath samples that were over the provincial limit and tested positive for cannabis.

The man has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime (over $5,000) , mischief (under $5,000), and possession of cocaine.

Police are awaiting further test results to determine if impaired driving charges will be laid as well.

The man was released to appear in court later.
