The verdict for a man charged with sexual assault at the Bay Roberts Retirement Centre has been postponed for 10 days.
44-year-old Chris Power is accused of fondling the genitals of an elderly male resident while the man was asleep.
The incident is alleged to have occurred in August of last year.
Power, a personal care worker, has already pleaded guilty to falsifying and uttering forged documents by claiming to be a licensed practical nurse.
Sentencing for those offences, as well as a verdict on the sexual assault charge, was scheduled for this afternoon but was set over to October 18th due to a scheduling conflict.
Until then, Power remains free on several conditions.
