A 22-year-old man is dead following a head-on collision on the TCH near Bellevue yesterday.
The accident happened around 4:30 yesterday afternoon, just east of the Bellevue turnoff.
Police say a car travelling eastbound crossed over into the westbound land and collided with an SUV.
The man, who was driving the car, was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene.
The two occupants of the SUV were transported to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
A collision reconstructionist with the RCMP attended the scene, and the office of the Chief Medical Examiner has been engaged.
