The collapse of a bridge in central Labrador has forced partial closure of the 4-Mile Forest Access Road in the Upper Lake Melville region.
The site of the bridge and road closure is about 5.4 kilometres from the intersection with Northwest River Road or Route 520.
Officials say the bridge is impassible and unsafe for use.
A berm has been erected and warning signage posted at the bridge site.
More information is available from the Happy Valley-Goose Bay Forest Management Office at 709-897-7116.
