A retired Police Service Dog has passed away.
Retired RNC Police Dog, Edge, passed away Thursday morning after a battle with cancer.
Edge’s handler, Sgt. Kevin Morgan, and owner, Jim Hynes, were by his side as he died.
The RNC tweeted a farewell tribute to Edge yesterday.
With great sadness the RNC informs our communities of the passing of retired Police Service Dog, Edge, on Thursday morning after a battle with cancer. Edge had his handler, Sgt. He served with the force for seven years, before retiring in December of last year.
