Charges have been laid in connection with a collision on the Torbay Bypass in early August that claimed the life of a woman.
The RNC were called to the scene of a single vehicle crash on the highway shortly after 12:30 on the morning of Sunday, August 8th.
The passenger of the grey Ford Ranger, a 29-year-old woman, died at the scene.
The driver of the truck, a 28-year-old man from Mount Pearl, was treated in hospital for injuries.
RNC have now charged the driver with impaired operation of a vehicle causing death, impaired operation of a vehicle in excess of 80 mg, and multiple court order breaches.
He’s scheduled to appear on the charges at a later date.
