Memorial University says contingency plans are in place for exams in the event of a closure due to extreme weather.
The University says that in-person exams, including in-person exams for online courses and exams scheduled by the Blundon Centre, that are impacted by a delayed opening or closure will be rescheduled for the same time and location on Sunday, December 12.
Exams in online courses that are being supervised by an invigilator outside of St. John’s or with ProctorU will go ahead as scheduled. Remote courses with online exams will also continue unless advised otherwise by a professor.
As nursing students take common exams, any students located outside St. John’s but are still in the faculty will have their exams rescheduled.
