The Mayor of Wabana says Bell Island will be left with no practicing physicians at the end of the month.
The community is currently being served by a single doctor and two nurse practitioners, but the doctor is leaving at the end of the month and Gary Gosine is looking for some answers for the approximately 2,800 people on Bell Island.
He says a meeting is scheduled for next week with the committee that’s overseeing the situation.
