RCMP confirm the arrest of a Bell Island man wanted on a number of arrest warrants.
24-year-old Coady Sharpe was wanted on a long list of charges including assault, mischief, resisting arrest, causing a disturbance, and various breaches.
In late November police indicated that during a series of phone conversations, Sharpe had promised to turn himself in but hadn’t followed through.
RCMP Thursday announced that Sharpe had been arrested with the help of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary and they thanked the public for their assistance.
