The city of Mount Pearl is delivering its budget for the upcoming year this afternoon.
It’s been another difficult year for the municipality as the impacts of the pandemic continue to drag on.
Last year, despite the challenges faced, the city decreased the residential mil rate from 7.4 to 7.1, and left the commercial mil rate and the water tax unchanged.
The city is expected to bring down its budget at 4:30 p.m. VOCM News will have the latest as soon as the announcement is made.
