Choices for Youth has officially launched its annual Home for the Holidays fundraising campaign.
The organization helps over 1,000 young people for the year with issues such as housing, education, employment, and more.
They are seeing a “steady increase” in the number of people needing support. For example, they note that in the last year they saw a 52 per cent increase in demand for meals, with nearly 23,000 meals being served through various programs. As well, in the last year the organization responded to over 6,000 mental health interventions.
The campaign helps Choices for Youth meet the increasing needs of the community. The campaign runs until December 31.
