Six people, including one who was briefly treated in hospital, have been displaced by a fire in Corner Brook which extensively damaged a bungalow containing four ground-level and basement apartments.
The fire, which occurred on Elizabeth Street, broke out at about 3 a.m. on Tuesday.
Canadian Red Cross volunteers have helped four adults with emergency lodging and meals plus purchases of clothing and other essentials. The other two adults are staying with relatives.
