Philip Pynn’s latest attempt at bail has been postponed until Friday.
Pynn and three others were arrested last week, accused of kidnapping a man for ransom.
The four, including 35-year-old Pynn, were in a car that was pulled over late on the night of December 6th on Oliver’s Pond Road, where Pynn has been living since his most recent release from jail.
Also in the car, police say, was a 27-year-old man who was allegedly abducted about an hour earlier.
The four were arrested without incident and charged with kidnapping and extortion.
Pynn, who already has more than a hundred convictions on his record, was also charged with breaching probation and court conditions.
The others charged were 40-year-old Jeff Aylward, 38-year-old Joe Aylward, and 33-year-old Theresa Lynn O’Grady.
They’ve since been released pending court dates in mid-January.
It’s believed the man who was allegedly kidnapped was not injured.
