Newfoundland Power is thanking the public for its generosity, after it donated $14,600 in cash, along with 20,000 pounds of food valued at more than $50,000 in support of the Community Food Sharing Association, at the St. John’s Christmas Parade.

Gary Murray, President and CEO of Newfoundland Power presented Eg Walters of the CFSA with $15,000 to match the donations collected during the parade. Furthermore, the organization donated approximately 2,500 pounds of food, collected by employees.

These donations will help stock food bank shelves during the holiday season.
