Memorial University will begin offering first-year engineering courses in Labrador starting in the fall of 2022.
The initiative is a partnership between the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science and the Labrador Institute’s School of Arctic and Subarctic Studies.
The first year of the bachelor of engineering degree program consists of courses in English, math, physics and chemistry in addition to fundamental engineering courses.
A dedicated lab instructor will be located at the Labrador Institute with remote courses also available.
