Residents of Spaniard’s Bay will soon start receiving their mail through local community mailboxes.

Residents have had to collect their mail and send parcels through Harbour Grace after the local postal outlet suddenly closed earlier this month.

Canada Post says community mailboxes will be set up on the parking lot of the Spaniard’s Bay Town Hall, and local service will resume on Tuesday, January 4th.

Letters are being distributed to residents starting today outlining information on when they can pick up their new community mailbox keys.
