The province is reporting 100 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 today.

Seventy-three are in the Eastern Health region, 19 are in Central Health, seven are in Western Health, and one is in the Labrador- Grenfell Health region.

That brings to 314 the total number of active cases in the province, but as of right now, no one is in hospital with the virus.

Public Health says due to extremely high volumes of testing currently underway across the province, there may be some delay in contacting individuals testing positive with COVID-19. Only negative results are provided online, and patients testing positive will be contacted by Public Health.
