Health care workers are spending an exhausting Christmas dealing with the current surge in COVID cases.
While frontline workers are the most visible, there are plenty of health care workers toiling behind the scenes managing case counts.
Among them are lab workers who have been busy working lengthy shifts processing the many COVID tests that have been taken in recent days. Public Health officials have already offered notification that test results may be delayed due to the sheer volume of tests.
