As 2021 comes to a close the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary recognizes the dedication of their communities in working together in support of one another.
RNC Constable James Cadigan says despite the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, the people of Newfoundland and Labrador are resilient.
The RNC sends its heartfelt gratitude to their staff, front line workers, first responders and community partners. They are wishing all communities a happy and healthy holiday season, and a prosperous new year.
Despite the move to Alert Level 3, the RNC say they will be operating at full capacity throughout the holiday season.
Cadigan says the Constabulary is heading the guidance set by Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Janice Fitzgerald and her team, to make sure their officers are safe, as well as the community.
