Two of four people charged with kidnapping a man for ransom have been arrested again.
38-year-old Joe Aylward and 33-year-old Theresa Lynn O’Grady are back in jail following a traffic stop early yesterday at the intersection of Newtown Road and Empire Avenue.
They both face charges of breaching conditions of their bail.
O’Grady faces an additional charge of public mischief by trying to deceive the police.
Two others charged in the kidnapping case remain free on bail, including Philip Pynn and Jeff Aylward.
All four have court dates in that matter set for January 13th.
They were in a car that was pulled over on the night of December 6th in Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s.
Also in that car was a 27-year-old man who police say was kidnapped in exchange for a ransom.
The man was not injured.
