It was originally hoped that Metrobus would provide more frequent service on key routes as of today, but COVID-19 is forcing it to reduce service instead.
The new Zip Network was supposed to have started providing frequent service on routes 1,2, 3 and 10. That’s now been delayed until full service can be restored.
Metrobus is reducing its service starting today due to COVID restrictions and lower demand now that schools are moving to virtual instruction and many people are working from home.
The passenger limit on buses is reduced to 19 under Alert Level 4.
