A 37-year-old man is facing a number of charges following a domestic disturbance in downtown St. John’s on Saturday.

At approximately 4:30 p.m. officers responded to a residence, where, after a brief investigation, the man was arrested and charged with assault, uttering threats, mischief, breach of release orders and breach of probation.

He was held to appear in court.
