Over $70,000 was raised today during the Health Care Foundation radiothon, in support of mental health supports for first responders.
The radiothon ran from 1 to 5 p.m. on VOCM, with all proceeds going to First Responder Mental Health and the First Responder Psychological Safety Collaborative.
The money will help provide these services for police officers, Rovers Search and Rescue, paramedics, and firefighters in the province.
Donations are still being accepted online at healthcarefoundation.ca
