The PC Opposition is crying foul over government’s new online application system for big-game hunting licences.
Forestry and Agrifoods critic, Pleaman Forsey, says he’s heard from many hunters that are having trouble navigating the system.
He says people are having trouble setting up online accounts, having to wait ten days for an email reply, and then having to wait even longer for a password to be delivered to them via Canada Post.
He also says the dedicated assistance phone line is not cutting it, as hunters are being met with “endless” busy signals and a recorded message telling them to call back later.
He wants to see better customer service so that hunters can fill their freezers this year.
